PLACEMENTs
The creative industries are exciting, demanding and challenging. Gaining work experience, and understanding the industry, can give you a key competitive advantage in the job market. For this reason, we offer students the chance to complete a short-term placement during Unit X.
The placement setting is a contrast to the University learning and teaching environment that students are accustomed to, and therefore provides a ‘real world’ experience. It provides an insight into the importance of investigation when developing their practice within a new setting, the impact of collaboration on their methods, and using these insights to plan future practice.
