Language Zine: Material MEANING
This work focuses on the playful relationship between language and zine making. Students examined the different creative forms language can take i.e. a concrete poem, instructional art, a script, automatic writing, sign painting etc. They also examined the different forms a zine can take in response to this i.e. a catalogue, a document, a sculptural book, an interventional object etc. We worked in partnership with Cornerhouse Publications and were due to exhibit at HOME but the students worked with a great deal of resourcefulness to create the work on display from their own homes instead to create this digital exhibition for your delight.
